enablepeople do not directly solicit work but rather work with case managers and channel partners to enable them to offer expert services and stringent service level agreements to the insurance sector. Our team of assessors, trainers and facilitators offer unrivalled expertise, national coverage and rapid response times anywhere in the UK.
Working alongside physiotherapists, ergonomists and other clinicians we use technology and ergonomic devices to enable people to resume active lives after an injury or critical illness. Our services compliment the best endeavours of rehabilitation professionals and is often the missing link in making a return to work programme real for thousands of injured people.
We also work with HR departments of large companies offering a range of managed services to support sick, injured or disabled people in the workplace.
Technology & ergonomic devices can enable people to transform their lives after an accident or critical illness. Our challenge is to streamline the process of needs assessment, supply, installation and training to make it a cost effective component of a return to work or rehabilitation programme. This requires very competent staff and robust systems that understand and support the case management process.
All cases start with a referral to our triage desk. A triage call is placed to determine the complexity of the need and the nature of the assessment required. For complex cases we would then dispatch a skilled needs assessor to conduct a full RTW assessment but in the vast majority of cases for non complex issues a remote needs assessment can be carried out with 48 hours. The assessment recommendations are then produced, equipment is ordered and training is arranged.
All of our trainers are very high skilled professionals. They carry a range of equipment with them and will, in one visit, allow the client to use several alternative devices, install equipment and conduct familiarisation training. This unique integrated service slashes the cost of intervention and makes using assistive technology and access devices a financially viable addition to the rehabilitation & RTW process.
These assessments and the training offered differ very significantly from those offered in the disability market place. The objective is to facilitate and accelerate a return to work in a way that is both beneficial to the injured party and cost effective to the insurer.

This service has been specifically developed to be employer centric and to represent management in disability issues at work. The Optimas managed service represents the employer and offers expert consultation to make sure that the best value solution is gained.
Optimas is an end-to-end process designed to manage every individual case from start to finish. The Optimas objective is to satisfy the disabled user needs and deliver optimal assessments and reasonable adjustments with speed, with expertise and reach a cost effective reasonable adjustment. Optimas looks after the whole process from the moment an employee discloses an issue through to the supply, installation and training of equipment if necessary. Let the experts handle it.
enablepeople offer a unique environmental audit service to assess the access requirements to a persons home or place of work after an accident or critical illness. We have a dedicated team of 8 Access Assessors and offering national coverage and outstanding SLAs. Our consultants can advise on adaptations to physical estate and support a case through building design and construction where needed.
This team are also backed up by the countrys only dedicated helpdesk of access advisors providing expert advice on access issues to the insurance industry and architectural practices across the UK.
